Today for Katelin's morning snack I gave her one of her favorites, popcorn. I had placed a handful of popcorn and some dried cranberries on her paper towel and she sat at the table enjoying them while Allen and I had some morning coffee. Afterwards Allen and I got to work and Katelin played very well on her own. At one point when Allen passed through the dining room he saw Katelin back at the table with a big pile of popcorn in front of her. She had dumped the whole bag on her paper towel and when I came out to look she pointed to the popcorn pile and kindly said, "Mommy, don't eat mine." She did give me a kernel, though, when I asked her to share.
